Dhoni, who is known for simplicity, calmness, and staying away from the chaos of social media, took to Instagram on 15th August 2020 and captioned the post: "Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout. From 1929 hrs consider me as Retired." Dhoni led India to three ICC titles - T20 World Cup in 2007, ODI World Cup in 2011 and the Champions Trophy in 2013.
