Australia Defeats India in 1st ODI as Kohli and Sharma Disappoint

Australia claimed a comfortable seven-wicket win over India in the first ODI of the series. Due to rain, the match was shortened to 26 overs per side. The Indian team could only manage to score 136 for 9 in their innings. In reply, Australia successfully chased down the DLS-adjusted target of 131 with ease. Mitchell Marsh played a crucial role in the chase, remaining unbeaten on 46. Disappointingly, both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma failed to make an impact, with their returns being short-lived. The Indian pace attack also struggled to contain the Australian batsmen. With this victory, Australia takes a 1-0 lead in the series.
