Virat Kohli Returns: Rishabh Pant to Lead Delhi in Vijay Hazare Trophy

After a brief break, Virat Kohli is set to make his return to domestic cricket as he prepares for India's upcoming ODI series against New Zealand. However, the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) has decided to exclude both Kohli and Rishabh Pant, along with Harshit Rana, from the official 16-member squad for the Vijay Hazare Trophy. The star players will only be available for a limited number of matches, estimated to be around two to three games, before joining the Indian squad. The specific fixtures in which Kohli and Pant will feature are yet to be finalized. In their absence, talented wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has been appointed as the captain of the Delhi team for the tournament. The exclusion of Kohli, Pant, and Rana reflects the focus on managing their workload and ensuring they are in prime form for the important series against New Zealand. Delhi fans will still have the opportunity to witness some exciting cricket, led by the dynamic leadership of Pant, as the team aims for success in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
