Sri Lanka Drops Test Captain Dhananjaya de Silva from T20 World Cup Squad

Sri Lanka has made a bold move by dropping Test captain Dhananjaya de Silva from Dasun Shanaka's 15-member T20 World Cup squad. This decision comes after Dhananjaya de Silva had modest returns since his recall, scoring only 43 runs and taking one wicket in three games. In his place, injured pacer Eshan Malinga has been included in the squad. The co-host Sri Lanka is gearing up to kick off their T20 World Cup campaign against Ireland in Colombo.
