Not in my control: Patidar on IPL final moving from Bengaluru to Ahmedabad

The upcoming IPL 2026 final will no longer be in Bengaluru but will take place in Ahmedabad, much to the surprise of many cricket fans and players. Royal Challengers Bengaluru, the defending champions, are set to face Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 1 for a direct spot in the final. RCB captain Rajat Patidar expressed his thoughts on the sudden change, stating 'Not in my control.' The shift in venue brings its own set of challenges, especially for bowlers in high-scoring games where even 200-plus scores are not guaranteed to be safe. Patidar highlighted the team's focus on execution and maintaining composure under pressure as they aim for another title win. Despite the change in location, RCB remains determined to put up a strong performance and secure their spot in the final.
